| The Muslim Service Society (M.S.S) Calicut is a social and educational organisation having branches, members and institutions all over the state of Kerala, Outside Kerala and in Gulf countries. The Society was formed in the year 1980. It has on its rolls eminent scholars, educationalist, doctors, engineers, lawyers, industrialists, businessman, social workers and general public. The main Objective of the Society, which has no political affiliation, is the overall uplift of the people in general and the Muslims of Kerala in particular. |
| The M.S.S has, as its main and foremost objective, the overall development, progress and well- being of Muslims in Kerala. Its mission includes among others, rehabilitation and uplift of the deserving poor, hitherto totally neglected and discarded by the society. Besides, the Society has plans and programmes to provide proper initiative and guidance in all spheres of social activities and to inclulcate in them proper motivation leading to Islamic way of life. |
| We collect fund from members and well wishers exclusively for this purpose and distribute the fund for treatment of poor cancer patients. Now we give Rs.300/- p.m to 120 Cancer patients. We propose to enhance this monthly amount and to increase the number of beneficiaries. But due to lack of sufficient fund we cannot do this. Insha Allah, we will consider this according to the availability of fund. |
